Today I’m sharing a restaurant in the Eco Botanic area! I tried out Toast House, hidden away in a little corner, and took a dive into the food they have. They offer kopitiam style food, and offer a cheaper option for people looking for a quick lunch in the Eco Botanic area.

Ma la hot pot is a phenomenon in Singapore, so it is no wonder that this trend is slowly spreading over to Malaysia - with Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur, in particular, growing into the trend. This restaurant in particular specialises in a less known dry version of the dish, cooking it with the chillis without a soup base.

A really new restaurant in Bukit Indah would be 随意 or Homies Taiwanese Restaurant! It opened late in 2018, and has now become a popular restaurant serving up (relatively) cheap and healthy options for lunch and dinner.

One of the foods that has gone ‘viral’ or is basically really popular in Gelang Patah would definitely be Nasi Kukus, and the reason for this is none other than the restaurant Nasi Kukus Ayam Dara Gelang Patah!
